Happy Birthday Reagan!

Reagan turned 3 on January 23. Im a little slow at posting! We had a family party that turned out great. She got this cute little bike that she can ride like a pro. I cant wait to take off the training wheels in the spring. Everyone spoiled her this year. With her turning 3 it is a very bitter sweet feeling for me. Im so proud of her and how big she is. She is talking great, going potty and is a big helper around the house. Reagan loves to to sing and count her numbers. Shes great and im so blessed to have her in my life. The bitter part for me is actually just me being selfish. My little princess baby is 3:( !!

Favorite pictures/events of 2008

So I figured that since I just started this blog that I would re-cap our year. (so yes this will be a long post!) We have had a GREAT year that's full of surprises and events. But first I just wanted to say how grateful I am to my kids, family and friends. I love you all and am blessed to have you in my life:)

SUMMER FUN! these are just some random summer pics.

Canyon fun.. fishing, hiking, camping. We love it all, and spend lots of time there.

Mudd pies!!

Race for the cure. Paige, Noelle, Brooke, and I

First day of school.. Sadie went into 2nd grade and Rylan finally graduated pre school and went into kindergarten.. They are growing up so fast.

Reagan turned 2 this yr. We had a fun yr with this girl learning new things. First she potty trained just after her 2nd b-day. Then she finally started talking and saying full sentences. I was worried there for awhile. She would always just sign or point and grunt!! Now she is doing great and we cant keep her quiet! She loves to sing, I think everyone in sacrament appreciates her enthusiasm! We love you Reags!

Rylan turned 5 this yr. He is the sweetest boy ever. He takes good care of us girls. He has a tool box that he carries around and trys to fix everything. He is makes a great son, brother and friend. We love you bubs.

Sadie's Baptism. Sadie turned 8 this yr and got baptized by her favorite person, Uncle Nate. They have a special bond that makes them so close.. He is a great uncle. Then later confirmed by her other uncle Josh. I'm so proud of Sadie and the promises that she made, when she got baptized. Your Dad and I are very proud of you Sadie mae.

Halloween. The kids were with their Dad this year. So I didn't get to take them out. But they did come home with a ton of candy to share! yay! Sadie was a witch, Rylan was a police officer and Reag went as Little Red Ridinghood..

SNOW!! The kids were so happy when it finally snowed!.. I for one hate it! After spending an 1 1/2 getting snow gear on. They are back in the house cold and wet within minutes it seems like!.. They built the worlds smallest snowman.. and was so proud of themselves.

New years eve with good friends, Noelle and Gentry. I am so grateful to have them in my life, we have been through alot and I can't thank them enough for all the love and support they have given me and my family. Heavenly father gave me sisters after all. I love you girls! Happy New years everybody!! Here's to the resolutions that I've made (stop swearing, lose weight, get healthy, get married (just kidding)!! be a better person and Mom)... So far after 1 day I've done great! anyway I love you all and I hope that everyone will have a great year!

Christmas

CHRISTMAS!! YAY!

Christmas started way early in the morning for us... can we say 3am?? ya! That's right, we have an early bird at our house. Sadie was up at 2:45 and then woke up all the kids and gave them a tour of the Christmas presents all the while I slept!!!

So I got up and we tore in to them.. it was so much fun watching their faces light up. The kids got spoiled of course and got most of the stuff they asked for. I have to say that I feel so lucky to have such great kids and the cute little presents they gave me.. I love you guys so much :)

Sadie and her Video Camera.. between that and her Mp3 player she is totally cool!! She just seems so grown up..

Gum in hair?!

So Reagan woke up this morning with a big ole' wad of gum in her hair. She must have snuck into her big sisters purse or maybe she had her own stash somewhere?? who knows! Thank goodness for my giant tub of creamy peanut butter (crunchy doesn't work!!) we worked it out. I can only imagine if I would have had to cut it. Especially it being right on top (can we say Dennis the menace?? it would have fit though, she is very busy and shall we say a bit naughty?)

This picture totally redeems the messy peanut butter and makes all that mess easier to get over. Gotta love her!!

Temple Square

We went to see the lights at Temple Square last night. The kids love riding the "Polar Express" (trax) and warming up with a $4 cup of hot chocolate!! This is my favorite tradition at Christmas.
Even though are family has different circumstance's, we are family none the less. We've taken the kids up every year, and so as long as we can get along. Then we will continue to do it all together. It was great to have Colby come, I haven't seen him in awhile. He has grown so much! He is now 13 and looks 25! I love him and was glad he came.

We got up there kinda late, so we didn't get to go in any of the buildings. Thank goodness the bathrooms were still open!.. that hot chocolate went right threw my little Reagan! We spent half the night in the bathroom. I had to take a picture, I thought it was so funny! It was a great night and I'm so grateful that I get to take my family to the Temple. One day I might get to go inside!!

**Girls Night Out**

So ever since I went to see Twilight (on opening day!) Sadie has been bugging me to take her. I finally gave in and decided to make it a "girls night". We called up my Mom and had a great day, from start to finish.

We made dinner together, it was so nice to have my Mom and daughter in the kitchen cooking with me.. And what "girls night" would be complete with out chocolate!..right??
So we made chocolate chip cookies (Ashlee has the best recipe..ever!)
The movie was even better the 2nd time!! Sadie kept saying "Mom, when is Edward going to bite her??" and "Edward is so-o cute, huh Mom?" gosh I love that girl.. She has great taste!! Im sure it had nothing to do with the fact that me and Noelle had been talking about the book for the last 6months!
It was a great night, and Im glad that I have such a awesome Mom and a sweetheart Sadie Mae.

New House

New House
This is our new house out in the Ranches (Eagle Mountain). We love it so much. I am so greatful for the move and love being next to great Friends! Ashlee and Tyler have been so great! Sadie and Rylan have had so much fun playing with Addi and Cj. The kids get to walk to school everyday and love having a park so close. We will miss our old ward and Friends but thankful that we can stay in touch.
